After working for five years in the industry, I decided to go back to school to further enhance my kowledge. During my masters at Penn State, I grew not only as a professional but also as an individual. As a researcher, my study focused on determining the risks associated with the use of silica in hydraulic fracturing industry and its health impacts from a review of toxicological and epidemiological studies.

College prepared me well to step into the real world as I started working for the largest coal mining company in the world after graduating in 2010.
